Ruggero Ricci, the reigning king of violin playing, will meet on this occasion in an intimate setting in lovely Rancho Mirage, California. Since his debut in 1928, he has played more often before more people in more places and has recorded more music for violin than any other soloist. He has played more than 5000 concerts in 65 countries. He has given generously of his time to teaching, sharing his wealth of violin repertoire with many violinists who treasure his warm personality and great sense of humor. He is currently living in Salzburg, Austria where he teaches at the Mozarteum Conservatory. Mr. Ricci's friendship with Jascha Heifetz spanned over fifty years.
